If you do not own the home where you are living, please provide me with your landlords name and contact information. *Is anyone in your home allergic to dogs? *Tell me about yourself and your family that will be living with the Great Dane? i.e. you, your spouse/significant other, kids, grandkids, older family memebers, etc
*Why would you like to own a great Dane?
*Have you owned Great Danes before? If so, how long did you own them and what happened to them?
*Is everyone in your home in agreement with raising, training, caring for a Great Dane?
*What other pets have you owned in the past and own presently? How long did you own them and what happened to them if you no longer have them? Include age(s), breed(s), and sex(s).
*Where all your current and past pet that required vaccinations up to date per your veterinarians recommendations throughout their lives? If not, why?
*Do you have any issues with spaying/neutering a dog that is sold as pet quality? If so why?
*Were/are your current pets spayed/neutered? If not why?
*How long would the puppy be alone for during a typical 24 hour period?
*Do you have a fenced yard? What type of fencing/how high? If you do not have a fence, please explain how you plan to provide exercise and potty time for the puppy.
*What type of exercise will you provide your dog with on a regular basis, other than letting them out into a yard?
*How are you planning on training and socializing the puppy?
*Will there be children or elderly people who will be exposed to the dog who don’t currently live in the home? If yes, What are your plans to acclimate the dog to these types of individuals and them to a dog the size of a Great Dane?
*Are you looking for a male/female, color, show/pet? Would you be interested in a Great Dane of a different color or sex if your preferred choice is not available?
*Do you understand the lifelong time and financial commitment that a dog requires, especially one the size of a Great Dane?
*Who will care for the dog anytime you are unavailable for any reason? ie vacation, business trips etc
*Where will the dog spend it's time when you are home? When you're not home? (ie in a crate, free run of house all the time, outside, etc)
*Are you aware of the common health issues that can affect the health of a Great Dane? GDV/Bloat? HOD and Pano? Dilated Cardiomyopathy? Hip Dysplasia? DJD? Cancer? Wobblers Syndrome? Cataracts?
*Are you prepared for the possibility of a health issue or emergency situation that could easily result in a large financial commitment of anywhere from $1000-$5000 or greater?
*What veterinarian do you use? They will be called as a reference as to your current/previous pets care. Include contact numbers *Can you give me two people, not related to you, that I can call for references? Please include phone numbers so I can contact them. *Is there arything else you would like me to know about you/your family and your desire to own a Great Dane?

The puppies I breed, are like my own babies, so I strive to find the best possible homes for them, where they will be lifelong members of the household and where they will treated with the same love, respect, and understanding that I give them.
